A musician’s standards. A teacher’s patience.

Professional experience matters. So does the ability to make a student feel comfortable, capable, and excited to return next week.

Music is personal. Teaching should be, too.

Christian Dancy is a lifelong musician, educator, and performer with more than two decades of experience helping students discover the satisfaction of making music.

He holds an MFA in Music Composition from Vermont College of Fine Arts and a BA in Music Performance from Westfield State University. He personally selects and trains instructors on his team.

His approach combines strong musical fundamentals with patient communication and music that means something to the student. Some learners need more structure, some need encouragement, and some need a different explanation. Good teaching adapts.

“Every student can make music—they just need the right guidance and encouragement.”
